LectroCount Electronic Registers - LC Model 405 Flow Computer
Measures pulse and frequency outputs from most industrial flow
meters. RATE and TOTAL are continuously calculated and can be displayed
in engineering units on a 6-digit LCD display. Front panel mounted
switches select Rate, Totals or Reset. The Keyboard/Display is used
in programming and for viewing the Accumulative
Totals and options including product temperature. Suited for a range
of applications that include process, rate-of-flow and inventory
control.
Setup data, stored in non-volatile memory, requires no batteries
for backup and will be recalled once power is restored. A scaled
pulse output is provided for peripheral devices. An adjustable 8-24VDC/50mA
power supply powers a transducer or pulser. Unit features digital
filtering.
For fluid handling applications requiring presetting with precise
shutoff at zero, specify LC Model 414 Multi Function Batch Controller.
Options for Model 405 Flow Computer and Model 414 Multi Function
Batch Controller
- Electronic Temperature Volume Compensation - recommended whenever
volume, temperature and/or mass (weight) are required for flow
meter accuracy.
- Multipoint Calibration - improves the linear accuracy of a flow
meter by utilizing up to 10 calibration points.
- 4-20 mA isolated output - suitable for driving controllers or
recorders. Minimum and maximum levels are programmed during setup.
- High/Low flow rate alarms - provided by two Form C relays. Alarm
points are programmed at setup.
RS 232/422/485 communications - interfaces to PLC's, PC's, printers,
etc. Backlit displays for ease of operator viewing.
- NEMA 4 splash proof and Nema 7 explosion proof enclosures available.
Not approved for resale/custody transfer applications.
